Early symptoms of stroke and first aid

Ischemic form of the disease develops because of insufficient blood circulation in the brain in a spasm of the vessel or blockage of its blood clot. A common cause for this stroke becomes atherosclerosis in which the walls of the vessels are atherosclerotic plaques, closing the lumen. Ischemic stroke usually occurs in people over 40-50 years.

The disease affects both men and women. At the age of 60 years, men get sick more often. The risk of stroke is that it can occur unexpectedly. This usually happens when a person suffers from hypertension, but do not know it because it does not feel high blood pressure. The risk group includes the elderly, people with obesity, diabetics, heavy drinkers, smokers.
