The consequences of hemorrhagic stroke

Optimal and reliable performance of blood vessels is fundamental to successful human life, because they are responsible for supplying all organs of the body with oxygen and nutrients. However, there are situations when their performance is disrupted, and this can lead to dire consequences. Thus, if the permeability of vessels or violation of their integrity occurred in the brain, it is the first sign of stroke.

As has been identified by scientists, depending on which parts of the brain rupture of blood vessels, as well as which side (left or right) the effects of hemorrhagic stroke may be quite different.

Hemorrhagic stroke – what is it?

The medical term "hemorrhagic stroke" is called a clinical form of sharp circulatory disorders in the brain. There is a gap of one or more closely spaced vessels, after which the blood enters the cavity inside the skull. If we analyze the medical statistics, hemorrhagic stroke accounts for about 15% of all strokes. In the clinical picture and the possible consequences of this type of disease is the most severe among all kinds of acute circulatory disorders of the brain.

Consequences immediately after the rupture of blood vessels of the brain

The external consequences of hemorrhagic stroke appear in several visible signs which may not feel sick, but they will be visible to others:

  • immediately after the lesion the patient can't smile (hemorrhage in the right hemisphere becomes immobilized left side of the face and hemorrhage in the left hemisphere – right);
  • the patient can not stick out his tongue or he immediately sinks spontaneously in any direction;
  • indirect symptom is impaired speech and diction (however, this symptom does not appear in that case, if the hemorrhage did not affect speech receptors in brain);
  • the victim could not raise two hands at the same time, in addition, he can offer to close your eyes, hold out hands palms down and stand it for a few seconds. If one arm spontaneously starts to move downward and to the side, then with high probability we can determine what caused the stroke.

In hemorrhagic stroke the left side of the brain occurs partial or complete immobilization of the right side of the body.

According to the medical statistics, stroke occurs in the left hemisphere more often than the right. Since the left side controls speech and logic, for violation of its blood supply not only immobilized the right side of the body, but appear sharpspeech symptoms.

The victim can be a serious speech disorders. The words which he utters, they become incomprehensible, often surrounding virtually impossible to disassemble them at all. In addition, the patient does not understand what he said and what he should do. The only thing he can do is speak parts of words or single sounds. Often in hemorrhagic stroke victims similar to silent. However, it should be noted that these symptoms are observed exclusively right-handers. If you're left-handed, some violations can either be absent altogether, or be the same as in right hand stroke.

In addition to the serious speech disorders, left-sided hemorrhagic stroke contributes to a strong disorientation in space, exacerbating the problems of logic and introduces the patient into a powerful depression. The victim, moreover, that cannot speak, closes and withdraws into himself. Thus, its communication and interaction with others becomes severely limited.
